I have ridden horses almost my entire life. Starting out taking hunter lessons for many years and then I got my own horse in my late 20s. I have competed in both Eventing and Dressage. I currently own a New Forest dressage pony and a quarter horse. I stumbled across a WDACO show that was very close to my house. I thought – why not take the quarter horse (previous life he did barrel racing). I did the intro tests and was hooked! The Western Dressage community at the show was so welcoming. I participated in both days of the show and had so much fun! I can’t wait to continue Western Dressage with my horse Blue and attend more shows. So thrilled to be part of WDACO.
