Horses are my life’s passion. I am a proud Colorado native and for the past 15 years I have been showing and training horses in dressage. In my early high school career I spent my weekends volunteering at Heart and Horses, a therapeutic riding facility in Loveland Colorado. It was then that I knew I wanted to make horses my life’s work. My high school offered equine science classes to juniors and seniors. Which, I enthusiastically attended. Through those courses we were to apprentice with equine professionals of our choice. I apprenticed with as many dressage horse trainers/ riding instructors as I could. I wanted to learn more so I went onto college. I am a Colorado State University alumnus and hold a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. During my college career I also started and still have my own horse training/riding instruction business. This has been an incredible journey as I have learned so much from every horse and rider that I have worked with. Three years ago I learned about Western Dressage. It was very exciting to find this discipline whose principals aligned with the ideals I was teaching in my training program. The last two years I have been showing one of my training horses in Western Dressage. We competed in the 2020, 2021, and the 2022 WDAA World Championships and have been having a blast.

Currently I am raising my amazing youngster, Mocha. I am looking forward to using the principles of western dressage to give her an excellent foundation for our journey together!
