12/2021 – present

I grew up in Colorado  and started riding  at 11 years of age in gymkanas.  At 17 I sold my horse in order to attend college and did not ride again for 14 years.  I began riding and lightly showing for an Arabian couple in California  in both English and Western classes. When I moved back home to Colorado a dear friend  of my Mother’s  gave me one of her 1/2 Arabian 1/2 Quarter horse mares and I began doing more trail riding and discovered  a local  barrel racing community. With the purchase of several more horses I began more barrel racing, joined The American Quarter Horse Association, and began to compete at a higher level.  I have always enjoyed trail riding and working my horses in a collected  English  style.  Western Dressage  has been a perfect fit for how I train and work my horses and have found it to be a wonderful  compliment  to barrel racing!  I continue  to work part time and compete in both barrel racing and Western Dressage  on both of my horses.  My children and grandchildren  are my human delights as well as my Western  Dressage  and Barrel Racing communities
